With that being said when I saw this yesterday I just got home from a long day in Madison where my daughter was starting her 3rd round of chemo for her brain tumor and all this thread seemed so damn silly to me in the big scheme. TFTC or a 500 word essay doesn’t mean a dam hill of beans to the stuff that really matters in life.
Aint that the truth. And without totally stealing the thread, I wish the best for your daughter. Sadly, I see this kind of personal trauma related to health crisis every day at work, and know how dramatically it affects patients and their families. Trully wishing you and yours the best.

Thanks Zuma!
Now back to your regular whining about stuff you can’t control.

can’t think of a better reason to steal a thread.
Hemi, there’s never the right words to help with what your daughter, your family and you are going through, but I offer best wishes and prayers for all of you.
02/12/2010 at 1:18 am #1921979We also add our heartfelt hopes that things turn around for Emma and your family. Many of us have things we face, but I can’t imagine anything more difficult to deal with than a child’s serious illness. You are so right in saying none of this matters in the big picture.

WHY do cut and paste logs occur?
1. Person had nothing to say.
2. Person does not want to say anything.
3. Person is afraid to say anything.
4. After a cache run of 40-70 in one day, who can remember?I would opt for 4 being my biggest …. excuse.
Most of my cut and paste logs come at events where so many are found and simply cannot all be remembered. While I do not remember writing any “SL TFTC” only, I have written some that are just as lame. If a cache isn’t special enough to have something stick in one’s head, is it deserving of much more than a TFTC? I’m not putting anybody down for the types of caches they place or how anyone logs them, that’s up to the individual. I can see both sides of the coin. There was a time long before I started caching when I could write some amazing things about nothing, but not anymore. As of I’ve gotten older I’ve become less colorful in some areas and more colorful in others….I’ll try to finish my thoughts later, I need to run.
02/13/2010 at 2:24 am #1921982There used to be (well, probably still is) a “log of the day” thread here somewhere but I can’t find it…
Anyway, this log is one of my all-time favorites!
