Just a thought, but perhaps those working on these “tougher” challenges could post notes about their progress to the cache listings. That way the CO’s would get to experience the fun of the adventure as it unfolds also.

Just thinking about “Multi State Traveler Challenge Cache” GC3DX78 where I know some cachers are adding logs when additional states (above / beyond) the requirement are attained. This same theory could be applied as people are working towards the goal.

That’s a great “thought”, CJ. I’ll add a note to the ones I am working on.

Great idea, also in my case lets me know people are still working on it and to keep it active.

Is there an easy way to find all the challenges that are in Wisconsin on gc.com? Whenever, I look I can’t find anything.

I would suggest that the following link is probably the best choice for a list of challenges. This guy seems to be maintaining the list as well as possible.

Oh, one more thing. There are few challenges on this list that are not legal according to current guidelines. They include those challenges for number of hides (this has not been allowed since 2009), number of FTFs (as far as I know, this has never been allowed), and number of DNFs (also never allowed). Please do not copy these challenges in your own area, as they will not be published.

I started the Wisconsin Delorme Challenge last summer. But due to college and gas prices, I couldn’t do a huge amount of caching through the fall and winter. Now that I am graduating in May, I am hoping to spend more time on this challenge as well as the county and the Wisconsin Falling Water challenge. It also helps that my son can walk alot better now, so he will enjoy being outside more too.

For me, It really depends on the challenge. I enjoy doing challenges like the Delorme one because they get you out into parts of the state that you wouldn’t normally go. I don’t enjoy the riddle ones as much mostly because I can’t figure them out.
I have also successfully gotten another friend of mine started on geocaching and he wants to do the Delorme challenge as well.
