Is page 64 in the new map the same as 58a on the old map? I found GC1D098 and when I ran the calculator it shows I didn’t find that page. And when I run the Delorme macro it doesn’t register either. Any ideas?
Thanks

According to the cache page of the Wisconsin DeLorme Challenge (GCXPZR) this is what I have found pertaining to the “new map”…….
7. The page boundaries probably stay pretty much the same from edition to edition of the atlas, but the copy held by the cache owner (9th edition) will be considered the final guide. IMPORTANT NOTE: The latest edition of the DeLorme atlas (as of 2008) have brand new map grids and a smaller amount of total pages. Don’t use this map! You’ll have to search around and find a copy of an older edition to do this challenge.
I hope this helps.

07/27/2009 at 1:48 am #1911365This might be of some help of what caches are on page 58a.
GC1PGCW
GC1PFEP
GC14BAG
GCZQVP
GC1MDP9I have these loaded on my GSAK & it shows that they are on page 58A
If these are not up to the terrain/difficulty levels then maybe just do a cache search for the levels you want that are around these caches.
Hope this helps.Becky (blue_cougar54494)
07/27/2009 at 1:32 pm #1911366I agree. Looking at the map, I would say it is page 48.
07/28/2009 at 1:25 pm #1911367It just figures that I planned my whole trip based on the fact that I would clear all the pages over there and the map book I have differs from the one used for the challenge cache.
07/28/2009 at 5:32 pm #1911368That’s why it’s a challenge 🙂
07/28/2009 at 5:41 pm #1911369We have the old atlas. The cache in question is on page 48. Caches in Pepin, and I know there are a few, would cover 58A.
Good luck and welcome to Wisconsin’s West Coast!

Thanks cheeto 🙄
07/29/2009 at 1:40 am #1911371All caches on page 58a are GC1PGCV, GC1PFEP, GC1NXWW, GC1MDP9, GC1AG3B, GC1AG3N, GC1AG3G, GC1AG2D, GCD239, GC14BAG, GCZQVP.
It is possible that I might have missed one or two but I don’t think so.

It is a great road to drive on, this gives me another reason to make the trip, again. Next time fall though, I am guessing it is a beautiful drive that time of the year.07/29/2009 at 1:54 am #1911373It’s a specTACular drive in the fall.
07/29/2009 at 2:15 am #1911374Hey Chris,
I have a Wisconsin Delorme that is correct for the challenge if you would like to borrow it. I have started my third states Delorme so Wisconsin (which I have done) isnt being used much right now07/29/2009 at 2:29 am #1911375Where can I find information on the Wisconsin Delorme Challenge? It sounds interesting.
