“On August 9th, twenty-one new Wisconsin State Natural Areas — several located within Wisconsin State Parks or along State Park Trails — will be designated in a special ceremony as part of the 50th anniversary celebration of the Wisconsin State Natural Areas program”.
In a recent meeting between the DNR and WGA representatives, the DNR expressed concerns about having geocaches located in State Natural Areas.
If you have caches in any of these 21 new areas, or existing SNA’s, you should strongly consider removing them.
