The WI DNR lists all it’s location with some type of coordinates. Can anyone explain how to use them or convert them into something I can use? Here is an example-

State Natural Area (No. 95)
Location: Racine County. T4N-R22E, Section 14. 56 acres.

That is sort of a legal description of the land. It is information that you would probably only find in a Plat book. I think the T=Town, R=Range? The section is often seen on a topo map (I think). If you look at a topo, you sometimes see a number in the middle of a square grid. These often corresponded with section numbers on a Plat book map. I own several plat maps books, but haven’t found any way to relate these numbers with the Lat/Lon system.
As I was looking at My Gazetteer book of WI after recommending on another topic, I found the T4N and R22E refenced on the map but not the section number.
I think I figured the section numbers out.
The bottom left corner of the section is at approx N42 46.900 W87 52.333 and the top right corner is at approx N42.47.800 W87 51.250. That is a pretty big area to cover but I’ll leave that for another night.
