I Generally carry my Kershaw Liner Lock Assist Open designed by Ken Onion. It is the Scallion, In Green.. Actually faster opening than a swithcblade, and Oh yeah. Legal!
Now for Firearm…….
416 Barrett. When you need to reach out, and touch something from over a Mile away!
10/29/2009 at 1:39 am #1915837I carry one of the SwissCards in my wallet so I always have it with me. This thin plastic card contains a small knife and some other useful tools for caching:
– Tweezers for pulling out micro and nano logs
– Mini pen for those times you hike a mile to a cache and realize you forgot yours in the car when you go to sign the log
– LED penlight (at least the version I have) for impromptu night caching
– Pin for removing splinters and bursting people’s bubble when they get too inflated after repeatedly finding caches before you doI’m also a Kershaw – Ken Onion fan, and I normally carry the Chive but also have the Leek.
10/29/2009 at 3:32 am #1915838I have to agree with Jeremy. the Ken Onion designs are great. I also had the Chive. It had the Snap-On Tools Laser etched. I lost it at a cache somewhere………
10/29/2009 at 5:10 am #1915839When i am caching I usually carry a leatherman multi tool. I found cool holster for it so it sits sideway on my belt verses up and down. I also carry buck knife in my back pack. And I also carry a small swiss army knife in my pants pocket at all times, no matter what I am doing. But next to my bed I have a 12 inch survival knife. At work I also carry my multi tool but also carry a Kabar fold out knife.

I just bought a first run special edition of this blade….it’s for my son (when he’s old enough). I find the lock release mechanism on this one a bit on the tricky side though.
