O.K. I’m really new to this, and don’t have much computer knowledge. There is supposed to be some program to make it easier to download stuff into my GPS. I bought a Magellan 210 and I’m kinda lost. I see there are classes but those are in like April. I’m getting frustrated to say the least. Any suggestions for a new guy and all this stuff to learn. Is it more trail and error kind of a thing. Thanks for the help in advance.
If you are going to be online tonite between 10-1030, log into Flushingrouse’s Geo-chat site and I can help walk you through it.

Honestly, thats how i got through my first finds, was lots of trial and error… And and with downloading waypoints i didn’t know i could do that until like 3 months ago, and i have been caching for almost a year now!
but keep at it, once you get the hang of it, you’ll be hooked! i wished i could help a little, but i have a garmin, and i don’t know if its different than the Magellan
Hey Coastie! You should have stuck around on chat. We could of told sea stories!
I use both Garmin and Magellan so I can do either.
Digger’s going to look into getting a premium membership at geocaching.com and then getting GSAK. GSAK is the best way to deal with a Magellan eXplorist.
