Duck505 put his newly acquired scuba certification to work to grab find #2400 at BeADiver TB4ARGH (GC2VZ9T) in Red Granite this past weekend. Not only did he find the cache and got co-FTF on it (with his dad), he also saw a copule of freshwater jellyfish.
Congrats Duck!! Now you have the fun of scuba diving AND caching!

09/06/2011 at 9:46 pm #1952910WTG! Great pix and a watery adventure! 😀
09/06/2011 at 11:10 pm #1952911Sounds like it was pretty cool. Congratulations on the FTF, your first dive cache find, finding the elusive freshwater jellyfish, and the milestone.
09/07/2011 at 12:35 am #1952912WOW. I got the notify on those logs because they’re within 10 miles of my home coords. No way I’m going to grab these, but they’re both in pretty cool locations. Definately a great and memorable experience.
09/07/2011 at 1:17 am #1952913Way to go Jacob! I remember the day you were trying to get certified, you were going to come caching with your mom and I but the diving class was not something easily changed. What a skill to have! It sounds like you had a great first diving-caching experience. I know they have rain-resistant paper, but underwater pens? Very cool to see the jellyfish and you got to have father-son time too. Congrats 😎
09/07/2011 at 2:15 am #1952914Congratulations Duck505 (and Astro-Don) for capturing the FTF on this dive cache and a great milestone memory! Glad I had a small part in getting you there. Nice to see someone I know get the FTF on these as I will most likely never get them.

09/08/2011 at 4:14 am #1952916When you first mentioned the jelly fish I figured you were talking about bryozoans, but after a little research I was very surprised to find out there are real jellies here in WI!!
One of the coolest milestone finds Ive heard of, Way to Go!!!
09/08/2011 at 12:48 pm #1952917What a ducky milestone! Congratulations on a very cool adventure for this one.
09/08/2011 at 1:49 pm #1952918I prefer staying dry, but congratulations on what sounded like a great adventure 😀
