We’re glad we got to do some of this series because it was another aspect of the game which is always changing. We did a few caches in several different areas instead of just going down the road one by one. After we got tired of this type find we did more of the regular type hides. Also spent some time exploring the desert. We had no problem pulling far enough off the road and don’t think we saw more than 10 cars the whole day. In fact we saw more low flying jets than cars which was interesting also. Sad to say we didn’t encounter any UFO’s in the area. These caches were safer to do than many we have done. Had a lot of fun out there and in Rachel looking at all the aliens.

I still track my stats from the DGP, and I haven’t been there in 2.5 years. It’s also cool to see a few of my caches still accumulating points. One of mine is worth 46 points currently, since it’s only found twice a year on average (GC1864X).

the DGP is actually still expanding. When I lived in AZ, it was the only state completely part of the project. NV only wend as far as Vegas, most of NM was there, just a tip of TX, a little bit of CA and a touch of Mexico.

Now it includes 5 complete states, parts of CA and TX, plus two Mexico states.
