Eau Claire recommended caches?

Hi,

I’ll be up in Eau Claire in about a month for meetings and was hoping that I could get some cache recommendations. Although my favorite caches involve a hike, I’m sure I’ll have to promise hubby that I won’t be wandering out in the woods alone, which unfortunately cuts out a lot of good caches. (Better safe than sorry, though) I’ll have a car, so I’m not limited to just Eau Claire. I’d appreciate all recommendations anyone may have. Thanks!

You may want to give my bookmarks a look. I have a bookmark listing of all the caches that I like the best in Eau Claire, Chippewa and Dunn counties.

Another option might be to head down the Chippewa River Trail. The trail head is downtown Eau Claire, and goes out into the country about 30 miles. There are caches all along the trail, about 50 caches in total. Here is a link to caches along the Chippewa River Trail
