01/24/2012 at 12:43 am #1955293Well, we just added two drops to the bucket of 100% pure green and gold.
The Mayor is running a clean campaign. He’s the real deal.01/24/2012 at 4:29 am #1955294Hey Mr.Steele its cameron ping i was promised candy if i voted, Good Luck Winning!!!!

01/24/2012 at 11:52 am #1955297Alrighty – Sunday, Steele added 225 voters and pulled into the lead. We campaigned Monday and were able to add 100 voters, but somehow Steele added another 130. We are 330 votes behind as of midnight Monday.
The big swings in the votes during the day are probably due to Steele taking over the voting duties from many of his kids, who couldn’t vote on weekends, or just forgot. (and since they are coming later in the day, probably the school district is tired of him using school time)
We will be campaigning to add another 100 voters, and appreciate everything the geocaching community is doing also! I’m sure some of that 100 is from you! We do suspect he is ‘manufacturing’ new e-mail accounts, but we aren’t going to stoop to that. We will run a clean campaign – thank you all for respecting that. We know we can beat him with real people!
Thanks everyone for voting and passing along the information for the Packers FAN Hall of Fame!
Rick Wiltzius01/24/2012 at 3:28 pm #1955298maybe recruit the other Wisconsin Finalists that are out of the running to campaign for Rick!

01/24/2012 at 4:30 pm #1955299This won’t be won on paper….just an opinion. This will be won and lost on the web vote. Seems there should be a way to leverage social media connections and campaign for 100,000 votes. Think outrageously big!
(Even old-style chain-letter solicitation of one’s friends should help, but it takes time to get the network to grow. Create & post a nice short form letter we can cut and paste to send to 5 or 10 of our friends/mailing lists, asking them to vote and likewise send it on to one or more of their friends. Not outrageously big, but with Packers’ Homeland Pride on the line, this should spark activity.)

What about encouraging the media to pick up the story again with the angle that it’s down to two, and one of them is someone from PA 😯 with a Fathead of Ben Rothlesberger in his classroom 😯 😯 who is trading candy for votes? 😯 😯 😯
I think we could get a movement going…
On the Left Side of the Road...01/25/2012 at 11:26 am #1955304Time to bump this back up.
Looks like the hardworking faithful have redoubles their efforts and the lead down to 125 for the Steele Curtain.
Know someone at the PC who likes to do fun stories, time to give him an email but it’s a longshot but ya gotta try, right?

01/25/2012 at 6:45 pm #1955306I just voted and Rick had a 3 vote lead as of about 2 minutes ago. This race is closer than a Wisconsin Supreme Court election!
