It looks like the net loss is again about 150 votes over 24 hours…up over 650 on Tuesday, 550 yesterday, 400 today.
On the Left Side of the Road...02/02/2012 at 7:03 pm #1955383up by 440 votes now
02/02/2012 at 10:31 pm #1955384The Mayor is up 250 as of this posting.
02/02/2012 at 11:07 pm #1955385The Mayor is still up, but I took a few minutes to see this 4 o’clock phenomenon. Unreal!
I’m sure no matter the final outcome, Rick will be so relieved once kick off occurs this weekend! Go get ’em!
02/03/2012 at 1:28 am #1955386Down by 400, so that’s a 650 vote swing in 3 hours.
I call shenanigans!
On the Left Side of the Road...02/03/2012 at 2:53 am #1955387Still down by about 400, but while I was waiting to log vote #25,000 for the Mayor (got either that or #25,001), the other guy’s vote total just sat while our guy’s was adding about ten.
Bedtime out east?
02/03/2012 at 2:59 am #1955388Hopefully the mayor can secure enough votes to hold ground through the weekend. I would have to think that there will be some gain from the paper ballots.
On the Left Side of the Road...02/03/2012 at 11:34 am #1955389300 net vote loss yesterday to start the day with a slim 100 point lead.
What’s the plan, Rick? Inquiring minds want an update…
On the Left Side of the Road...02/03/2012 at 1:04 pm #1955390Down by ten
02/03/2012 at 1:07 pm #1955391Hope the paper ballots put him over.
TE02/03/2012 at 3:40 pm #1955392Nine votes down now.

02/03/2012 at 6:44 pm #1955394Sorry I haven’t been here in a couple days.
Watched Pennsyl tally up 700 votes in an hour and a half one night. Yesterday, he added 266 new votes for a daily total of 1683 votes. Even with heavy campaigning, our best daily vote add was 160. As of midnight last night, we are down by 48 votes. It will bounce around a little during the day depending on who gets votes in first, but he is nowadding 360 votes more than us each day. With 3 days left, and if he adds no more new votes, he will be 1130 votes ahead at the end. We have been adding about 50 a day, but efforts are being stepped up.
I’m sure he has guessed at a number of paper ballots that he thinks we have, and is shooting to get over that number. I’m thinking he is just using the phone book, or possibly one of the other school’s registry to add voters, because simply adding 260 votes on a whim borders on the impossible. I’m just hoping that his guess at our paper ballots is 1000 – we can cover that. People at work have stepped it up even further, and I have 70 votes to drop today. The big question is, will ALL the paper ballots make it down to Green Bay? I drop into 4 different boxes in town, figuring even if one doesn’t make it, the vote loss will be only a quarter.
Almost afraid to see how many more votes he might add on the weekend once he isn’t bothered by having to teach. At least it’s almost over, either way!
Thanks for all the votes, and for spreading the word. Appreciate all the effort going into this whole thing!
Rick Wiltzius02/03/2012 at 8:14 pm #1955395I have to say, Rick, that I give you credit for sticking with it.
It was fun to watch for a while, and we still vote every day and post it to our FB.
But the cheating is so blatant that it really disgusts me. You deserve to win on sheer principal and if you don’t I can’t look at this supposedly good natured contest with any respect.
Hopefully the organizers can smell a rat and make changes next year to avoid the blatant ballot box stuffing.
On the Left Side of the Road...02/03/2012 at 8:41 pm #1955396Well, an hour and 20 minutes before the vote bots go to work for Penn St.
