The only thing I can think of is that they were using GMT (Greenwich mean time) so that it was standard everywhere. That means 5:30 GMT would have been 11:30 here, which appears to be when voting closed.

I noticed that. It could be a default message from the upickem site, or it could refer to the close of the online ballots vs the paper.

I think that will be announced at a dinner on February 14. Can’t believe they’d have everyone come all that way just to hear that they lost, if that should be the case.

Well I think everyone but two already know that they lost. And one of those two should know that he lost, too. 😆 Just checked, and the Steele Driving School website has removed the “Vote for Me” headline and links.
