I’ve been a fan myself since I was 12 in 1978…my dad got excited after several years of losing that the Packers were winning again and got me hooked…even though the 1978 season was a flash in the pan and they went back to losers until a certain #4 came along, I still was a Packer fan thick and through and I know Rick is as well.
This other guy is just a bandwagon jumper and only doing it to get into his girlfriend’s pants.
Come on, Rick. We’ll get you in 🙂

As I expected, the votes for the PA guy tailed off when the kids went home from school on Friday. Rick is now ahead by 137 votes, but don’t stop voting because the PA kids will be back on Monday morning.

Thank you everyone for keeping the thread going and especially for the votes! Yes, we also noticed the votes tailing off once school was out and were hoping for a lead through the weekend. I’m sure that will make Pennsylvania work even harder, so please continue to vote every day!
Since there were Packer games on Christmas and New Year’s day, we had put off our family Christmas until yesterday (the 7th) It was really wonderful to relax with the family for a day, and still watch the votes come in. It was also the first full night of sleep I got since this all started.
Thanks again to all my geocaching friends (and anyone you might pass the word to) – now, back out on the campaign trail for me!

I hate signing up for crap.. “dont worry, we won’t send out your information, check our privacy policy!” I call a flag on that one. Thankfully there are lots of free email sites still out there.

Once again back to neck and neck – took them no time at all to wipe out a 200 vote lead from the weekend. I’m sure they won’t let it happen next weekend, and we only have 27 more days of this!!
I called the Packers office, and even though the rules state that you must be 18, they are allowing 13 to 17 year olds to vote, they just won’t be eligible to win the Road trip tickets. Unfortunately, we are unable to get underage voters signed up online, so we don’t know how it’s being done.
Wisconsin Geocachers could be the secret underground vote we need, if we can only get the word out! Please spread the word and continue to vote Rick Wiltzius

A quick count – appears to be at least 20 geocaching votes! Very cool, thanks to everyone! Remember, it’s ok to pass the word for more votes, and they might even thank you for directing them to a spot where they won a Packers Road Trip for two!
Our strategy is to save votes till later around midnight, and let them take the lead each day, in the hopes they won’t work at finding more votes. They work less, and we have the time to get people hooked up that don’t know their way around a computer very well.
