Rick is back on top as of this early morning.
Maybe the kids are getting bored with voting every day?
On the Left Side of the Road...01/13/2012 at 1:10 pm #1955188Keeping fingers crossed….
Following the signals from space.
01/13/2012 at 1:49 pm #1955189Looking good, as we added 1 more! 😀
01/13/2012 at 4:40 pm #1955190There is a new event: http://coord.info/GC3ARYG
01/13/2012 at 6:03 pm #1955191I saw that event and it would be a lot of fun, but I already signed on to a birding field trip in northern MN.
BTW, when I went for my job interview in Winona MN this morning, I saw at least two staff members sporting the green and gold. Wonder how I could subtly let them know???

Hmmm, isn’t there a cache rescue near there…

01/13/2012 at 6:49 pm #1955193At this moment I have 5 students who asked to stay in from recess to make posters for Rick. 8)

01/13/2012 at 7:35 pm #1955194Pete, I’ve looked at that cache rescue. Too dangerous for ice walking, and not crazy about a small kayak or canoe to get to it. Too much big river traffic.
I’m sure it’s been swept down to the Gulf by now, but I’m not gonna file a rescue based on the three hundred year floods since it was archived! 😆
01/13/2012 at 7:44 pm #1955195Yes, we are back in the lead – I’m not sure that Steele has an answer to the geocaching vote! lol
Birdin’ – I gave up being subtle on Jan. 1st, the day the voting started, but I sometimes just inform of the contest just to get people voting. (Especially on a couple fan sites) Hopefully, they go back and see who turned them on to it, and I get the vote.
BigJim – When I told Tammy about your students making signs at recess, she said that is the sweetest thing she’s ever heard. (I’m also really impressed) Please thank them for all they do!
Once the voting is in the schools, do we change from ‘No child’, to – ‘No Vote left behind’ like in PA? (sarcasm)
And finally, did you see comments on Steele’s page where the kids are thanking him for the candy?
Thanks everyone for your support and continued voting!
01/13/2012 at 8:42 pm #1955196Is is a bad thing if I wish for a major snowstorm to knock out the power in the Pittsburgh area for a couple days? 😛

Yes, I did. Nothing like buying votes with lollipops. 🙄 I’ll pass your comments on to my students. Hopefully they are getting their parents to vote at home, because I won’t stoop to the level of having them vote at school. I figure I’m stretching the limits already with the daily vote update 😆

01/14/2012 at 12:54 am #1955198Cats have votes, and currently up by 11 🙂
01/14/2012 at 1:13 am #1955199Dude,
Don’t be using e-mail addresses that are not your own. Those votes will get thrown out once verified.
01/14/2012 at 1:15 am #1955200Don’t worry. It’s all legit.

But to your point, once you’ve set up an account, what other sort of verification is performed? We’re just sure we don’t violate the “•Only one ballot per person per day.” rule.
