No idea…but two e-mail addresses from the same name and from the same location are a red flag.
01/14/2012 at 1:38 am #1955203We have two email addresses. I used one to register me and one to register my husband. We both vote every day.
01/14/2012 at 1:56 am #1955204That’s fine, Sandlanders.
Also, I just promoted this in the Michigan Geocaching Organization forums and this is what I wrote.
I know many of you are Lions fans but I figured I’d make this request.
A good friend of mine, who also is a geocacher and goes by the geocaching name of RickBlick and Chick, is up for nomination for the Green Bay Packers Fan Hall of Fame.
His real name is Rick Wiltzus and he’s from Wausau, Wisconsin. He’s been a Packer fan since the Lombardi years and is a season ticket holder.
Even though many of you are Lions fans and probably never even heard of Rick, I’m hoping to appeal to this group to get a fellow geocacher into the Packer Fan Hall of fame. Rick will greatly appreciate it.
You can register at http://www.jsonline.com/packersfan and once registered, you can vote once daily until February 5th. Each vote gets you an entry for a chance to win a Packers road trip for two to a 2012 away game! (Includes airfare, accommodations and game tickets.) With luck, that road trip could be to Ford Field in Detroit π
Again, vote for Rick Wiltzus from Wausau, Wisconsin. Thank you π

Our voters are all human. π
But I can’t believe that the scrutiny on this is as big as for the Walker recall. Maybe for whoever wins the two tickets to the away game, but for every vote? I could make up a couple more email addresses and list ourselves again. It just says one vote per email address.
But only the two of us are voting since our cats are all long gone. π

We’ve kitties to lend! π
Think ‘h. r. puffinstuff’ is gonna get kicked off the petition next week?
Anyway, keep voting for Rick!
01/14/2012 at 4:34 am #1955208I’m voting twice a day, once from my hoe e-mail and once from my work e-mail. So can I register my yahoo mail and my gmail, too?
All opinions, comments, and useless drivel I post are mine alone and do not reflect the opinions of the WGA BOD.

01/14/2012 at 6:07 pm #1955214Since the rules state one vote per PERSON per day, I am only voting once per day. I had considered using some scripting voodoo to add a hundred votes per day, but I know Rick well enough to know that he wouldn’t approve.
01/14/2012 at 9:22 pm #1955215It’s back to just +40 but that’s a big turnaround from down nearly 200 earlier in the week.
How is the paper ballot going to figure into this? Let’s say steel has more online votes on the last day???
Yeah, the candy for votes is pretty lame…at least it’s not cigarettes though…
