Hello, my name is Elizabeth, although in the caching world I go as Superman’s better half, AKA _LoisLane_ (the darn original wasn’t available). I was born and raised in Appleton, WI and still live there. I work as a lead resident assistant at a local assisted living facility. I have loved getting to know the geocaching community in the Fox Cities and hope to get to know more of the caching community through out the state.
I started Geocaching back in 2012….kinda. I first went geocaching in a summer PE class just before my Junior year of high school. I know some of you are doing the math right now and yes, I am super young. I didn’t really have any means to continue so I kinda dwindled off and have still yet to remember what my geocaching name was or if I even logged any of them online. Which is why I really consider my start in Geocaching to be January of 2015 when I picked it back up after crossing paths with Superman down in Texas (It’s a long story).
Now that you know a little bit about me and my geocaching history, I would like to thank the people who nominated me. I would love the opportunity to serve on the WGA BOD. I know I am probably a lot younger than most of the nominees, current board members, and even the geocaching community as a whole which might make a few of you hesitant about me. I think though that given the opportunity I could be a great asset to the BOD, bringing perhaps a slightly different perspective on some issues that are presented.
See you on the trails!
