I’m wondering if someone would have the manual/instructions for this charger. I bought one for cheap on ebay and it didn’t come with this info. I’ve checked Energizer’s website and emailed the origional owner… both with no luck.
Here’s to hoping one of my fellow cachers will have some kind of help.. I just want to avoid a “meltdown” in the case there’s something more than meets the eye…

I probably can’t help you, I have the CHM24.
There is an Engeneering Data Sheet at: http://data.energizer.com/datasheets/library/rechargeables/consumer/accessories/chm4fc.pdf that has a lot of useful data including the Energizer/Union carbide Watts Numbers.
