Part of the fun of any Event is sharing Trackables, as well as discovering and moving them along. Some cachers also bring their trackables for ‘discovery only’. The WGA most definitely encourages that activity.
In that light, if a trackable owner wants to trade/swap/sell an item that another attendee has an interest in, this would not be considered as ‘vending’. Our “Vendors at Events” policy is to keep control over who and what is being solicited at the Events that the WGA has invested time and financial resources in.
We don’t want to be a strict police force! The BODs want to have fun at the events, too! We’re just cachers that chose to give some time back to the caching community in Wisconsin and we appreciate the input and support of our members.
