Great job to all who planned and carried out this Event!
I’ve done a lot of event planning of a non-geocaching nature, and I know how much thought and hard work must have gone into the Picnic. I was extremely impressed with the sign in process … I hate lines … the line was less than 5 minutes, but it seemed like 30 seconds … in fact while I was filling out my families name tag, someone grabbed my GPSr and uploaded the caches and handed it back to me before I even knew they took it. The caches were all great – the special containers were great – the people were great – and food is always great (so that doesn’t count). The EnergySaver team will all need naps this afternoon.
We’ll second that motion! We loved our 1st geo-event! And what a blast it was. The members and commity were all very helpful and welcoming when we showed up.! Just another thanks to all that helped make this a great time and cant wait till the next event. Hope to hear from all we chatted with again. Was fun staying afterwards and chatting with the few left over! Email us sometime and say HI!

When word spreads of the WGA’s excellence at hosting events, I’m curious as to how many more states will be represented at next year’s picnic. Does the Beast have a prediction?
