02/10/2009 at 2:51 pm #1901699I’m a “No” also.
You can’t even see what it’s about without creating an account and signing up.
My friends keep trying to get me to sign up. “look, you can change your moods and everything”. Well, I can change my mood just fine without facebook 😕

Geez, Brian, all this time I thought I was the old man in this crowd. 😉
02/11/2009 at 2:39 pm #1901701I’m on it and waste my share of time with it, but I keep thinking…..this thing is like Narcissis and his pond. I mean, who really cares if I’m “planning a road trip?”
Love it….changing one’s mood without technology!
02/11/2009 at 2:51 pm #1901702My wife has a page on there. I look in once in a while to see if I’m missing something. Once I found “I went geocaching with Dave yesterday. Water everywhere, but we managed to stay pretty dry until he lead us into a MARSH, where we both slipped and fell.” Oops!
02/11/2009 at 5:31 pm #1901703I signed up back around the holidays, but then didn’t do much with it until I ran across an alumni group from my old high school. Since then, I’ve been re-connecting with a mess of my old friends. It’s neat to look at pictures and see how everyone has grown and changed. I know a lot of you might say “If you want to see everyone, just go to your re-union”. Well, I wasn’t friends with too many people from my actual class. I had more friends in the classes that were a year or two behind me, so I don’t get to go to those re-unions. This way I can re-kindle old friendships.
I also like it for putting a face with a name on the WGA page. I’m really hoping we can organize some group caching excursions without it having to be an official “event”.
02/11/2009 at 6:01 pm #1901704Even without facebook, it’s easy enough to organize group outings. Just post in the “looking for someone to cache with” forum or whatever it’s called. Even if someone doesn’t read these forums, chances are their friends do and will pass on the info to interested parties.
