If you’re heading up my way for the fall color (and any associated caches that you might like to find), the colors peak around Oct. 1 in Marinette, Forest, and northern Oconto and Langlade Counties. In southern Oconto and Langlade, and Shawano Counties the peak is usually about a week later. The weekend of Oct. 5-6 this year should be excellent for viewing. 🙂
If you were really a wizard you would have waved your wand last weekend and changed all of the leaves to brilliant fall color for the WGA Picnic.
My magic is confined to Oconto County…sorry.
I’m heading with a Jeep group to the UP the first weekend of October, I hope its not to late up there.
😀 Wi_pattymel will be partaking in the UP’s colors, waterfalls, Porkies, for the next ten days, thanks to some WGA members for recommended caches, starting at Taquamegon Falls and going West. 🙂
No need to go so far! The Yellow Brick Road has everything you desire 😀
