Not much color change in Waukesha County yet, just starting. Post the conditions in your area to help other cachers pick spots to tour for good fall color.
09/24/2010 at 1:59 pm #1936464Lost a lot of leaves with the rain, though color is just starting in EC.

09/24/2010 at 2:09 pm #1936465Many trees ablaze with color in Vilas and Oneida Counties.
TE09/24/2010 at 2:17 pm #1936466Probably inaccessible now due to flooding, but we were caching east of Black River Falls on Monday and went down a back road to get one called Target. Absolutely gorgeous and I didn’t have the camera.
09/24/2010 at 2:34 pm #1936467We checked on our cache here on Wednesday (before the 3″ rains): GC1Y7TW Posted a couple of photos from there, but the best color might be a week or so away. Bonus smiley if you find the cache right now (or an extra one if you return) and post a photo with coords.
Color in spots around central WI right now. Worth the drive.
09/24/2010 at 2:36 pm #1936468It’s really starting to show north of Green Bay…time to take that trip north that you were planning on 😀
Oconto...the birthplace of western civilization:)
09/24/2010 at 3:27 pm #1936469We’re just starting the color change here in Kenosha. Some trees are still fully green, while others the tops are just starting to turn. Losing a lot of leaves in this wind though.
09/24/2010 at 4:02 pm #1936470Can’t see the leaves through the rain 😆
All opinions, comments, and useless drivel I post are mine alone and do not reflect the opinions of the WGA BOD.
09/24/2010 at 5:44 pm #1936471Although it is more fun to read first hand reports from geocachers, I find myself checking this site often each fall:

Just went thru there, and NE WI and the UP of MI were nearing peak this past weekend. Next weekend ought to be good if they stay on.
Also, with all the rains, this is an exceptional time to visit waterfalls.
