Interesting story in yesterday’s St Paul paper. Rampant speculation that Favre is going to play for the Vikes next year. They figure the Jets dont really want him anymore, and are 13 million over on salary cap. Coincidently, Favre will get 13 million if he is a Jet next year. Add that to the fact that Favre’s first choice last year was to play for the Vikes cuz he wants to stick it to Ted Thompson, and the rumor makes sense.

They can have him. His petulent whining and demands for special perks will be a perfect fit for the ViQueens. And Our D needs some more int’s.

I love it. I’ve never seen that one before.
The other thing that I forgot to mention that is leading to speculation that he is not retiring this year is that he is not taking a victory lap at the Pro Bowl, preferring to rehab his arm…..The logic is that if he were done, he would go to the Pro Bowl, but if he plans to play next year, than he has to stay home and rehab the arm….
Anyway, something interesting to watch.

Well, I don’t remember how it was worded, but I do remember IF THe Jets were to trade him to the Vikes, it would cost them a bucket full of draft picks. I’m not sure what whould happen if they release him.
