After talking about it for months, I figured these weeks before the campout would be a good time to get my GPSr overhauled. A few days ago I boxed it up and sent in on it’s way. Giving up my reciever, even temporarily, feels like losing a good friend.
One thing I’ve noticed not having a GPSr is that it enables me to concentrate more on my overdue schoolwork, cleaning, and cachemobile maintenance chores. Not to mention a couple non-caching friends I had almost forgotten about.
I also managed to spend $$$$$ on stuff for the coming season.
Geez, I can’t wait for this to be over.
