The Blondie Bloodhound and YT do not subscribe to keeping the area near our home GZ “clean” and showing all smileys. But that’s just us.

➡ There is something comforting in knowing that you have a couple of caches that are just north. south. east or west of us that are available to find. If that’s what we decide to do. Always good to keep your options opened. We can walk to them or bike to them or snowshoe to them if the mood strikes us.

Heck there is one that has been waiting for us since December 2007 for us to find GC182D3. 😆 Another one quite close is GC1CHGE that has been sitting there since June 2008.

💡 Hmmmmm…..that has the makings of a bookmark list: “Caches We May, or May Not Find” 😆 😆 😆

I have several caches left within 10 miles of me…but they are onsies….I rarely go out for a single cache so until another cache pops up near one of the closer caches the likelyhood of them getting found anytime soon is remote. Time and gas money is short. I go after groups of caches not just singles….unless they seem special (and NEED to be found).

    1) Then we have Michigan state regionals in Traverse City, so I’ll get more counties on US Highway 2 along the way to the Big Mac Bridge. Not sure how many more counties there are after I pass through Delta County on US

There are only 2 counties between Delta and the Mackinac Bridge. Schoolcraft and Mackinac. Mackinac County is very long east-west and eats up about 65 miles of the trip. Keep in mind that some of the areas you are talking about hitting this winter get quite a bit more snow than we do in the “banana belt”. Good luck with your goals Todd!

I’m only picking up some that are right on US 2 such as waysides and the trip to Traverse City will be in late February or early March. So I might get lucky and have some snow melt away.
