Today, as Trudy & the Beast showed us the ropes, we found our first two caches in Brown Deer Park
And so the fun starts..
Congrats! Sounds like you had fun! Here’s to many more!
Congrats! You are brave souls to brave the weather today. I hope the 50 mph winds and rain didn’t ruin the hunt for your mom. It can only get better from here
Oh yeah, the wind was pretty creepy in Brown Deer Park, in the woodsy areas.. Not to mention getting splotched with those huge raindrops dripping off trees. Had to dry out my shirt (which was under a jacket!).. It was raining pretty hard at times.
I guess it is a good thing that we didn’t go after all nine caches I had originally planned for the day.

Great to hear that we have a new member! Just remember Starwolf, you can’t be a full fledged member until you’ve experienced caching in at least two extreme conditions… like in 15 degree weather for 4 hours trying to find one of the legs of a multi cache(cough.. Mr. Elver’s Cache!) Just kidding. Welcome to the lot of crazies we are.
