I can’t believe it’s frozen over already! Dang global warming.

are the only ones within the park areaLet me again say how thrilled I was to find out you got permission to list the arch here as an EarthCache. As I posted on your Cache page, I was not allowed to even make mention of it when I set up the EC at the falls there…much less the “cave”.
Someone did get seriously injured there some time ago and they are still concerned about safety issues…so keep to the rules in this park and watch your kids.
12/09/2010 at 1:28 pm #1939789THANK YOU π π
12/21/2010 at 12:59 am #1939790That’s the picture I saw, that made me decide to go see this park. I took a bunch of pictures when I was there, and a couple are posted to both of the EC’s there on 12/19.
While behind the falls, you could actually hear the water flowing inside of the “frozen” waterfall. Hiked down the creek, to explore, and see the arch from the bottom.
I’m going to make a point to come back and see it again in the summer.
This is the exact reason I like caching. I always seem to find, and go, to places I never would have seen otherwise.
