For sale: Palm IIIx handheld computer with hot sync cradle & cover.
Price: $20


Monochrome
4Mb RAM
Works with Cachemate, Plucker & others.
Uses two “AAA” batteries. (you can replace them in the field, no need to be near a charger or other power source)
Software available for free from: Palm.com
Requires an RS-232 (serial) port in order to communicate with host computer.
Your computer would need a port that looks like this:

FYI You could also get a USB adapter that will add an RS-232 port to your computer. Most computers today don’t have serial ports anymore.
i might be interested in this as i want to go paperless for caching could you tell me more about it and what to do
