A real geocacher would have dumped out the dirt in the flowerpot.

Took me nine tries, so I better stick to the real thing.

You were having all of that trouble because you weren’t going for the FTF on this one, CJ.

I hope someone is designing something like that for Wii…

How bad is that, I had to post a DNF. Came back today and found it on the second try. ๐Ÿ˜ณ

I looked in four places, but I finally got it. Pretty typical of a cache outing for me.

Us, too. And then we would do maybe 5-6 more like that, and the day would be over.

Too easy, I found it on my 2nd try. It needs a feature so you can “hide it where it should go”.

It took me 2 tries. My two grandsons (8 and 10) are part monkey so they knew to look in the tree right away and got it on one try. Why does it take so much longer in the woods?

Sure, log a spoiler log right away ๐Ÿ˜‰

Couldn’t you have encrypted your log?? ๐Ÿ˜€

Should’ve read all of the logs before looking for this one. I think there were only 2 places left once I finally found it.

First time I saw this. Found it on my first try. Why doesn’t that happen in real life for me?

    Oh great. Just my luck.

Here I am showing the Blondie Bloodhound this fun video and she wants to try it.

    BINGO!

The BB finds the cache on her first mouse click.
If that isn’t cyber caching imitating real life caching.

Now I think some Wisconsinite needs to do a Winter version of this— complete with chattering teeth, howling wind, blowing snow, dropping your GPS in a snowbank, and frostbit fingers as you try and sign the log. And to keep the sarcasm going, each time you look in the wrong spot you get a virtual facewash.

I was thinking of a winter version, too, BakRdz, but thought about all of the “wrong” versions that would need to be made. The geotrails would look different in each! Of course, a false trail to each spot could probably have been made beforehand, but if not: “Oh, gee. Wonder where that one trail in the snow leads?” ๐Ÿ™„ ๐Ÿ˜‰

Yeah…just combine the sarcastic voice with wrong choices…

“You want to cross the creek? Ok, I’m sure it’s frozen enough to hold you.”

“Want to look for the nano under that park bench? You’ll need to take your gloves off but I’m sure you won’t get frostbite.”

“You found the micro but there’s a logsicle inside.”

    and the ever-popular,

    “Start digging!”
