Welcome to ToyotaRyan!
Tell us a little about yourself!
Where are you from?
What kind of car do you drive?
Havin’ fun?😀 😀 😀 😀 😀 😀 😀 😀 😀 😀 😀 😀
01/25/2009 at 6:00 pm #1901082Ha ha, how did I guess you would be the one to start this? Thanks Jim and Linda for the welcome and the past help you have given me.
Well I’m 23 and married. I work 3rd shift at a local factory in the Fox Valley. I used to live in Appleton for a few years when I was in grade school but then I moved up to Wabeno and finished school. I found my way back to the Valley due to the lack of jobs up around Wabeno. I drive a Toyota…. but I bet you all figured that one out by now. But seriously its a 02 Tacoma and I love it.
Yeah I’m having a blast. I wish I would have known sooner about Geocaching. I should thank Garmin for putting the Geocaching icon on some of its receivers. Without that I would have never have known about Geocaching.
I plan on placing a few of my own caches soon, I went out and bought a couple of ammo boxes. Just waiting on permission and the right time to go out and do it.
01/25/2009 at 6:05 pm #1901083Welcome aboard, hope to enjoy caching as much as rest of us seem to

Thanks for the welcome, I can’t wait til the snow melts so I can find some of those that arn’t the most winter friendly caches.
01/25/2009 at 6:23 pm #1901085Welcome to the game. Always fun to hear how others came to discover it, I guess that little icon has merit!
I have a Camry myself. Trekkin’ has a Saturn.

Thanks for the welcome, my wife has a Camry as well. We just got it last year, she loves it.

Snow, who stops caching due to a little snow…slow down maybe, stop never.
Either way if you get down in SE Wisconsin area we are always looking to team up with other cachers and have some fun

I haven’t stopped because of the snow, I learned to how to geocache in this stuff. It can be -17 out and I will still be out there looking. Not for too long at those temps but I will be out looking. Thanks for the offer to team up. I normally don’t venture that far south of the Valley. Oshkosh at the most, Fond du Lac at the greatest. I mainly go north to visit family and friends. If anyone is wanting to team up in Oshkosh, the Valley or Green Bay I am interested.

Nah I don’t own a Ford, the only Ford I ever drive is the F350 at work, and that is rare.
01/26/2009 at 12:09 am #1901091Welcome! I also live in Menasha, and am also a rookie. So many caches close to home, you won’t be bored. Is your wife also involved in geocaching? If you can’t beat ’em, join ’em, as the saying goes. The forums are a lot of help, attend events as you are able, and get out there when you can!
01/26/2009 at 12:48 am #1901092Welcome to the WGA. It sounds like you are already having a good time.

Thanks for the welcome. My wife hates the cold so she hasn’t gone out with me recently. Come spring I bet she will be out with me though.

01/26/2009 at 4:21 am #1901095Welcome, ToyotaRyan!
But you are too polite and well-mannered for this knock-down, drag-out organization. Imagine, responding to everyone’s post! Your folks taught you well, or else you are just trying to rack up the posting numbers. 😉
Naw, we can use someone like you. Again, welcome!
