Missed the early news because the baseball game was on. Have to watch 9 and 10. They have a story up on their website. Do we know this family by their WGA name? My daughter and I are right at the end of the video.
Yup. That’s team SammyClaws (and me!). I guess I’m now part of the Marek family. 😆 Look for the clip on the 10:00 news tonight.
We were there!
Got all 32 listed caches, got to meet Vince and some of the other WI cachers, saw alot of deer, and helped some newbies!
We also were seriously SWARMED by those flies – so much that Jim and I took our shirts and dunked them into the lake to finish the north loop!
(Helped quite a bit!)Was a fun day, till I got home and realized I wasn’t feeling too well. UGH!
Oh well.. a fun time was had by all – and I do agree that the turnout was pretty good. Beautiful place, and I heard that there will be more permanent caches placed in the park.
I saw a short clip on the event last night at 9:00 or 10:00. Jim and Paula (The CinemaBoxers) got a cameo appearance with Vince!

Hes a SUPER nice guy – I liked him on the news already, but after meeting him in person, we like him tenfold. Hes really a down to earth nice fella, who really enjoys caching.
I will add, his segments have definitely helped caching in the SE WI area – when we are out and about, its amazing how many people know what we are doing when they see us with the GPS’.
At Fish Hook a couple walked past, and I heard them say “Oh, they are Geocaching – I saw it on the news!”
Makes for a nice experience when people dont assume you are up to no good!

Heheh, Vince had a clip on the event tonight. SammyClaws must’ve sent him a few pictures. Way cool! I’ll see if I can upload it.
Happy to hear that everyone had a great time. This darn job of our always gets in the way of the great events. Maybe I can convince my wife that we need to quit our jobs.

OK, all clips are now on my website. I’m making a DVD this week for SammyClaws. According to Vince, they’re experts! (referring to Part #5) 😆

Actually, its mostly Greendale4X4’s fault. We were waiting for him to lock up his truck and got snagged for an interview by Jennifer Reyes in the morning. Then, in the afternoon, G4X4 said he wanted a goup picture with Vince. We thought Fox 6 might like some pics for the blog page so we sent them 6n of the pictures we took. The only expert thing we did was manage push the camera button. Of course that doesnt count the several blurry pics of the hawk, turkeys and on the boardwalk. We didnt even get the stamping of the boxes right.
