I highly reccomend a series of caches just north of Wausau, called the Frost Forest Series. There are 3 regular caches, that leads to a 4th mystery cache. All 4 are in the same park, so you can park once and hike to all 4 of em. The walk will take you thru a wonderful area, criss crossed with trails and up and down a ski hill and down a little ravine.
All 4 hides are very well done, creative fun hides that can be a challenge, but not real hard. The final has a special challenge, again easily solved, but something a little different.
Anyway, this is a great series, and should be reasonably winter friendly, unless there is a lot of snow. Here is the waypoint for the final: GC16JQE
