These photos sent to me by a Science Enthusiast friend. The water is frozen the instant the wave breaks through the ice. Temperature of the water is already a few degrees below freezing. See what happens.

The Frozen Wave and explorer … Is This Safe… 🙄 🙄

This brave Man just needed to touch the wave…No that’s not me! I prefer just watching from my computer. Anyone visited there?
I’d say it’s very safe. The wave was formed in photoshop. To freeze that ammount of water instantly would require tempuratures reaching near absolute zero.
Cool pics though!

I have been advised (by my in house expert) that the photos are real… however, they are not “waves” but photos of actual Glacial Movements. In any event, I’m not getting this close for a photo. My Brownie Camera won’t work there. (I will start a New Topic on Historic Brownie Camera Photos shortly) taken at Pearl Harbor.. no trick photo shop stuff there.
This is as close I would want to get…. 🙂 … 🙂
