I will be selling this in a few weeks. I am waiting for my new PN-60 to come in. It is like new and does not have a box, but it has the software and cable. It has had a screen protector on it since day one. I am not sure what the asking price will be. Any questions please contact me. I should have the new one by June 17th.
Thanks05/27/2010 at 6:54 pm #1929741IM me if you’re gong to sell the PN40, I may be interested.
B.Q.05/27/2010 at 10:09 pm #1929742I will contact you as soon as my new one ships.
Thanks05/27/2010 at 11:22 pm #1929743Not to steal the thread but I am actually interested in purchasing this one or the 60 that is coming out and have a question that I can’t seem to find an answer to.
I know it holds a 1000 waypoints in the internal memory, now can I dump those waypoints and pull from a file on the sd card? That way if I’m traveling I can have specific files for the area I may be leaving or entering?
I gather you liked it since you are going with the 60, I’m on the fence between the two or a Garmin unit.
Thanks!05/28/2010 at 12:03 am #1929744That is correct. You can save as many individual files as you like to the SD card, each containing up to 1000 caches with full descriptions, logs, type, size, difficulty, terrain, etc.
05/28/2010 at 12:48 am #1929745You need to upgrade to the 2.7 firmware and the you can load as many as the SD card will hold. I have dad the Colorado, oregon 300 and 450 and the Dakota 20. I will never go back to the handheld Garmins. You have to pay for routing and it is not up to date. I like the way the Delormes do multi’s and I can see it when I am driving.
Thanks05/28/2010 at 3:17 am #1929746Thanks for the feedback! I’m leaning heavily towards a Delorme, and almost pulled the trigger on the 40 when I saw Gander had them on sale until I saw that Walmart.com had them cheaper.. What to do? Wait for the 60 or buy a 40 is where I am at.
05/28/2010 at 9:08 am #1929747I usually go through someone like me or Amazon. If I think I can trust the person. Amazon is great, if you do not like it just return and put not as described. They will pay for return shipping. The only things that the PN-60 has is better battery life, new interface and more internal memory.
Thanks07/13/2010 at 2:48 am #1929748Do you still have the Delorme. I am interested.
07/13/2010 at 2:55 am #1929749I am sorry it has been sold.
