I just learned an interesting geographic fact. What state is furthest east and which is furthest west? Make sure you don’t use badlatitude!

Hmmm! Very interesting. Cheesehead is right. There is an obvious follow to that, and a less obvious … which is furthest south. The answer is the very next state to join the union after the state noted above.

Here is another fun fact….
Which is further east, Washington Island, WI or Pensacola, FL. I’ll bet JJ/The Troops will jump on that one.

Here’s one I like: Everyone’s probably heard the riddle about the hunter who traveled a mile south, a mile east, then a mile north and found himself back at his starting point. He then shot a bear. What color was it? (I’ll leave off the answer for those who haven’t heard it.)

My riddle is, where else on Earth would this be possible?
