Is this the furthest point west in the continental USA?

Thanks Beast – I guess we were close then! That was Ruby Beach at Olympic National Park in WA. Absolutely beautiful.
Westernmost point is also claimed to be Cape Alava, WA. I looked at going there last year when I was in Seattle but it was just too remote.

Umm, a quick Google search reveals that westernmost point in continental U.S. is Cape Wrangell, Alaska (Attu Island) 52°55′ N 172°27′ E
I guess by “continental USA” I meant the 48 congruent states…
