First off I would like to thank kmhiker, Auntienae, Averith, Sammy Claws, and Pawn of Chaos. for helping out at this event. A big thank you to AuntieNae who stepped up to be the announcer for the presentaion. Kmhiker for helping wiht getting loaner GPSr’s and hiding the temps with me on Friday. And to everyone else who were there to take the newbies out for there first finds.
We had a total of 64 people there. Despite the sun and the bees (I got stung on my thumb knuckle) it was very informative and a lot of people really enjoyed themselves. From what I heard there were a lot of people who had questions answered. There were a lot of family there and the kids had a blast finding the temps.
Again thank you to everyone who could make it and thanks to everyone who helped get this event off and running.

I would like to thank those that put today’s event together, we appeciate it. We had quite a few questions and they were all answered. Everyone was very helpful and went above and beyond. The kids were excited with their treasures/trades they received from fellow Geocachers, it means a lot to them.
Thank you 🙂
