I got this off the Washington County Sheriff’s Press Release website.
Anybody wearing black while geocaching today in Pike Lake State Park?
Date: October 14, 2011
Case: 11-33010 Suspicious Person in Park
Authority: Lt. John Buck
The Washington County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a report of a suspicious male in Pike Lake State Park. The complainant was jogging on a trail in the park at dusk on October 8 when the jogger encountered a subject dressed in all black clothing along the trail. As the jogger approached, the subject appeared to try to conceal his presence by crouching and then standing tightly against a tree in an apparent attempt to avoid detection. The jogger noticed an unidentified shiny object in the man’s hand, but continued running. The subject was described as a white or Hispanic male, 35 to 38 years old, approximately 6 feet tall and thin to medium build. The man was wearing black pants, black shirt and a black baseball cap. The subject did not try to confront the jogger. No other reports of suspicious persons on the trail were received. Any person who may have information on the identity of the subject may contact the Sheriff’s Office at 262-335-4420. The incident is still under investigation.
Sure sounds like it could have been….
