So I’ve been searching around and there are no clubs/groups for geocachers in Janesville. I started geocaching last year. I go when have time when the weather is good. I know there’s geocachers in Janesville because there are many caches in Janesville. Why don’t we start a club/group for Janesville if there isn’t one? We could do a monthly meet n greet at a park, a CITO event, or something of the sort to get more people interested. I like geocaching and it’s a great way to enjoy the outdoors. 😀

Yes there are a lot of caches in Janesville. Only problem is that most of the cache hiders do not visit this forum. You could set up a meet and greet and the word gets spread from the ones that do visit. I will try to make it myself as long as I am not allready commited to something else.

Hi! I’m new to geocaching in the Janesville area. I haven’t actually had the opportunity to go out and look for caches yet, but has anyone maybe tried to reach the cachers that don’t visit the forums via caches? Maybe somebody could type up a little paper and place it in caches they find in the area to get the word out about grouping geocachers together? Just an idea for you 🙂

I am from Appleton, but have family in Watertown, which makes Janesville not so far away. I will keep an eye on the events and would like to make a cache run that way:)

I’m just north of Janesville and would be interested in at least a meet and greet! 🙂
