I just placed a new cache. It got published just before it went down. Don’t blame me 😛

Edit: As of 3:36pm, it’s up.

Is there a place where we can see how often the site IS WORKING?
This is crap…they need to make some real changes….

I’m sure that we’ll get no credit on our memberships either.

Where else are you gonna go if the site’s down? Terracaching? 🙄 And when it comes back up we’re all so happy.

This is what happens when you have an effective monopoly. There is no incentive to improve anything. Why would they? To get more advertisers? I doubt it.

You are absolutely right, however, they could do the right thing. It’s not like they are politicians.

No biggie if GC goes down. I have 1000+ unfound caches in my GSAK database. So if the site goes down and I wanna go caching, I’ll just use my most recent GSAK database, then wait for the site to go back up to log my finds.

      No sweat.

Umm, you guys know there is an email address where you can direct your complaints? [email protected]? I can pretty much guarantee that no one in Seattle is reading these forums.

Don’t be so sure about that…

Umm, I don’t think anyone here ever expected them to. 🙄

Sry…just venting..you are correct, if I want to complain I should do it to someone who is in charge. Now that I have the Oregon I store 500 caches with discriptions on the unit so I won’t get the newest caches if the site is down but my caching life won’t have to grind to a halt if they are down for an hour or 3.
