Geocaching.com Down?

I tried logging in around 1 PM yesterday. Got a screen message stating the site was down for maintenance. First time I have seen that. Usually, it just does not load, or an error message.

They implemented this screen during an update about 2 or 3 months ago and have used it for each actual site update day since.

I was happy to see this new page…now maybe they could add a nice picture of the frog or something….perhaps a Sudoku to solve while we wait?

Been writing logs off and on all afternoon. Haven’t run in to any problems. . . yet.

I was able to submit logs, but when I tried to e-mail another player, I got an internal error message. I tried a couple of times.

Well, it was fixed in less than five minutes, so I’ll claim the credit for that, too. 😉 But I wasn’t responsible for anything that went wrong during the day yesterday, so someone else needs to confess!

Hmmmm…I haven’t been able to get to gc.com all day on any computer on the home network. Anyone else having problems?
