Did GC.com change the profile page so you can’t add links from your profile? It seems to be stripping out my a href= tags leaving the link url as the text on the page.
For example, it’s translating:
GC15ZV5
(Should show up as GC15ZV5)Into:
This is making my stats page look weird. (Yeah, I know… I just opened the door to insult on that one.) Ok, it’s making the FORMAT of my stats page look weird. 🙄

03/09/2010 at 11:25 pm #1924610I didn’t have problems like this, but I do notice that when you go to your page that shows the breakdown of caches found/owned, they are in a different order than before. No biggie, but curious about that change.
03/18/2010 at 3:26 am #1924611Is anyone other than me still having problems with GC.com? I can’t get search pages to come up without and error coming up. I lose the page to a IE error page. This happen I would say 9 out of 10 times I try to search. It doesn’t matter the search type either. When I refresh it always takes me back to page 1 of the search.
Any ideas?Thanks
Jeff03/18/2010 at 2:15 pm #1924612Yes, I am having the same issue as well. Hit the back button once or twice and it will display the search request.
I was thinking it had to do with IE v7. I’ve been to lazy to see if it happens with other versions. I also have an annoying error pop up when I display a cache page from within GSAK or log a find and change the date.

Any ideas?I (and some in my circle) had some problems about two months ago that sound similar to what you have described. I was using IE6 and had to upgrade to IE7 or FireFox to regain GC.com functionality.

JeffI am having the same problem. I updated to IE v.8. It did NOT solve the problem. It is very annoying.

Yea I have two computers, one with each version and it’s driving me nutz! I need to keep IE for school as that’s what my online courses use!
03/18/2010 at 3:42 pm #1924616I use a PC periodically that has this same problem and it’s IE7/8. I think it’s a Active X / Java related issue, but haven’t figured out which yet.
03/18/2010 at 3:58 pm #1924617I might try chrome. I will keep you posted.
03/23/2010 at 2:52 am #1924618I finally got annoyed enough to download a new browser. I find that Firefox works the best no error messages yet. It is also much quicker then IE.
I did not like chrome.
