Geocaching Express Logger

Anyone try the Cachemate Geocaching express logger? This tool allows you to use to quickly log your geocaching adventures on Geocaching.com. No more searching for caches and clicking around the geocaching website.

Very cool concept …. will need to try on my next find. Personally, I love to give detail logs of my experience at each cache (for the sake of the cache owner), so not sure how I’d benefit from this … but then again we’re pretty low volume on our finds.

What would be interesting to see is how well it works to log finds at Events … logging the find of each temp hide, without waiting to refresh back to the event page (for those of us who live out in the sticks and only get a 28.8 dial up speed and can’t get DSL or Cable).

I’ve seen that option. But I, like EnergySaver, want to write up a bit more about the cache search experience. As a cache owner myself, I know that those are the only real reward that the cache owner gets. It’s no fun just seeing “found it”.

I’ve always tried to write a decent log and appreciate and enjoy when others do the same.

I just used this program. No more going to each geocache page via the find function. This program allowed different detailed entries for all geocaches. Basically, it is copy and paste. Coy from the Cachemate data base on the PALM to the logging page of each geocaching age.
