Does anyone else take advantage of what will most likely be a sleepless night by planning geocaching for the weekend?

Anyone up for any night caching — right now? (a sort of joke, at this point.)

I certainly do. I even log and read other logs of cachers I’ve met along the way. Tishman is also guilty of this, course it could be that the two teens in the house are usually on during peak hours….nah…we could kick them off. It’s the insomnia thing….hmmm…could checking out caches be the root of insomnia. Nah….then it would be an obsession….LOL. I personally like insomnia, it let’s me do those important cache planning moments…. …er hours.

I’m fortunate to sleep soundly most of the time. But I have stayed up late looking the lay of the land for some planned caches to do. And as far as night caching, I like to do that once in a while. With the daylight diminishing, some reflector type night hunts on relatively safe terrain would be most appreciated. SBBT has a couple in Waukesha’s Minooka Park. It could be an inspiration to other creative cachers.

Of course! What else do midnight workers do while waiting for the sun to come up to go to bed?? Need more night caches.
