I was flipping through the channels on T.V. last night and came across a piece about geocaching on the Travel Channel. The name of the program was something like “The Worlds Best Lost Treasures”. The show was mostly about actual treasure hunting, but #7 on the list was Geocaching.

It looks like the next airing of the show will be on Feb 2nd at 6pm or 7pm Eastern Time.

The show is either called “World’s Best Lost Treasures” or “America’s Best Places to Find Cash and Treasures” (I think it’s the ‘Best Lost Treasures’ which will be on at 7PM Eastern.

I saw this announced in the geocaching.com forums yesterday so I set my VCR to record it at midnight last night. At least I thought I did… but it didn’t record. Thanks for letting me know about the next broadcast.

    RTUG Read the users guide!
If you can figure it out Ken, I could use some help here. I have a half-dozen user guides for VCR, Digital camera and the like that I havn’t been able to decypher.

I’m usually not a gadget klutz but every VCR seems to be different. Some want you to turn the VCR off after you program it. On others you’re supposed to leave it on. I guessed wrong on this one. Yeah, the user’s manual could come in handy!

My favorite RTUG story is about the guide for a FAX/Modem that was available on-line. If I could retrieve the UG on-line, why would I need it?

    My PC bootup screen says:
Keyboard failure detected, press F1 to continue

    and another Windows PC reads:
Mouse not detected, click on OK to continue
