I just wanted to announce that we will be selling the remaining 2007 Wisconsin geocoins at the campout. The following motion was unanimously approved by the Board:
The WGA shall sell the approximately 70 extra 2007 Wisconsin geocoins in its possession at the 2008 WGA Geo-Campout for $12 for one, $20 for two, and $10 each for 3 or more.
If all the extra coins don’t sell at this event, the WGA shall pursue liquidating the rest of the coins by other means, including sales at other events, reopening the WGA online store, or eBay.
The WGA shall retain 4 of the trackable 2007 Wisconsin geocoins for its archive, plus any sample coins it still has.
I believe you will only be able to purchase them during the day Saturday, though we may also have them at the pancake breakfast Sunday if they last that long.
We will also have a limited quantity of campout t-shirts available for sale at the campout for $10 each. Note that these will only be t-shirts, not sweatshirts or hoodies, and we’ll only have a few of the most popular sizes (M, L, XL, XXL). Your best bet is to order exactly what you want ahead of time through the WGA Store. But if you get to the campout and see for yourself how awesome the shirts are (they are incredible!) and realize that you were a doofus for not ordering one, we might be able to help you out. 😀
