Another new team has been burning it up in central Wisconsin, finding their first 500 caches in less than three months. Yesterday they ventured east to the Fox Valley to notch their half a K with “A Sloughfoot Kind of View” (GC13RNW) at a spot with one of the best views of the “Serpent” in the area. Congrats on the milestone and the torrid pace out of the blocks since mid-summer!

10/22/2009 at 12:39 am #1915529Way to go geolivestrong and thanks for the hides!
10/22/2009 at 12:42 am #1915530Congratulations on the milestone. We hope to find some of the many new hides you’ve placed to our east some day soon!
10/22/2009 at 2:59 am #1915531Wow! Our heads are still spinning from your recent cache hiding blitz in the area, and you’ve still had time to zip all over the place making finds of your own. Way to go on #500, geolivestrong! (And we see your total is now up to 520 . . .)

And a day later up to 539 . . .
10/23/2009 at 11:53 am #1915533Thanks for all the kudos fellow cachers! Yes, it’s been a somewhat meteoric climb….but sooner or later I am going to run out of nearby caches to find! I have had the luxury of being able to do a lot of cache hunting while geolivestrong jr. is competing in triathlons. They take us all over the state and they aren’t exactly spectator friendly events! So, knock a few out during, some more after, and as many as I can any other time. It helps when you have a wife and teenager who are as addicted to the game as you are too! It makes it easy to plan what we’re going to do every weekend. Thanks again, and I hope to see more of you along the trail soon.
10/23/2009 at 1:22 pm #1915534Wow! You make me feel like a slacker! Great job!

Try finding their next hundred in five DAYS! Geolivestrong got #600 today.
10/26/2009 at 1:59 am #1915536….but now it is back to work time. Weekends are too short, the days are even shorter, and soon there will be snow on the ground. Ahh, let’s keep cachin’ anyway!
10/26/2009 at 9:06 pm #1915537Congratulations on your miletsone and another thumbs up for selecting a cache that has meaning for the nice round number of 500.
Happy Caching. 🙂 -
