Geotager Software – Redux

Anyone have any first hand experience utilizing geotagging software such as:

gpicsync
http://code.google.com/p/gpicsync/

or

RoboGeo
http://www.robogeo.com/home/

or something similar to be able to
Geotag photos into Google Maps or Google Earth?

My PC runs Vista.

I have just discovered this myself, and am intrigued by the possibility of geotagging my digital photos with my existing technology, and not having to purchase a dedicated gizmo. I plan to try this out and see if (A) it works, and (B) it’s easy to do.
