After his plans for a 5/5 milestone went awry, GetMeOutdoors decided to go virtual at GC6C0E for #500.
Way to go GMO!
Which 5/5 was your planned milestone? What a perfect idea!
Congratulations on reaching it, no matter how you did it!
Congratulations! The Millenninum is right around the corner ……
CONGRATULATIONS!
I’m glad to see you get your new milestone. Thanks for all of the great hides that you have placed in the process.
Keep on having fun!
Thanks, all. I was planning on the Scooby Doo and the Mystery of Half Moon lake series in Mosinee. If I was going to do it, I had to get it done before we went out of town camping this past weekend (either that or pass up finding any on the trip… and that wasn’t going to happen). But I struggled to get the correct coordinates for stage 3. I looked and looked, rechecked trivia answers, coords, etc before giving up (it was getting dark and rainy anyway – this was last Thursday night – the 4th). When I looked at everything just this morning, while e-mailing the owner, I think I found my error… a really stupid one. One that I had double and triple checked. Basically I can’t count. I may still try for it yet this summer if I can get confirmation that I’m on the right track. Or I may save it for the next milestone. It just means I’ll have to get to 600 before the paddling weather wears out 🙂
It feels good to make it to 500. Didn’t think I’d make it that far 6 months ago. Here’s the link to the 500th. I posted the obligatory photo 😆 🙄
